These classes are taught by Mr. Lee 李老師 and Ms. Leung 梁老師.
Two sections are offered for parents. Section A is designed for those with no prior knowledge of Cantonese, focusing on conversational language used at home between parents and children, with vocabulary taught in Jyutping. Section B is for those with some basic Cantonese knowledge, focusing on understanding the kids’ textbooks and learning to read and write Chinese characters. Both sections meet 11–12 times per semester, with joint culture sessions open to the broader CSGW community. $250/semester or $480/school year.
Important Information:
- Prerequisite: Parents must have a student enrolled with CSGW.
- Schedule: Classes are held at the same time as students are in class.
- Registration: Registration occurs at the start of the school year, and classes start two weeks later.
