At CSGW, cultural celebration is woven into the fabric of our school year. Students and families come together to honor four meaningful Cantonese traditions:
- Winter Solstice (冬至) — Welcoming the longest night of the year with warmth, family, and tradition.
- Lunar New Year (農曆新年) — Celebrating the new year with customs, activities, and the joy of new beginnings.
- Dragon Boat Festival (端午節) — Honoring this ancient tradition of dragon boats, rice dumplings, and Cantonese heritage.
- Mid-Autumn / Moon Festival (中秋節) — Gathering under the full moon to celebrate family, lanterns, and mooncakes.
These celebrations are organized and brought to life by our families, making each event a true expression of our community.
